Industries we machine parts for

The sector matters less than the geometry, the tolerance and the paperwork behind it. These are the six where the combination fits what the network runs, and the four where it does not.

Typical work. Your part is assessed on its drawing, not on the industry it belongs to.
SectorTypical partsCommon materialsWhat inspection focuses on
Robotics and automationEnd effector mounts, gearbox housings, linear rail carriers, sensor brackets, shaft couplingsAluminium 6061 and 7075, stainless 304, POMPosition tolerance across mounting patterns, parallelism on rail faces, matched sets where parts are paired
Industrial machineryPump and valve bodies, manifolds, spacers, guards, machine frames and platesAluminium, cast iron and steel plate, stainless for wet environmentsBore diameters and surface finish for seals, pressure test where the part is a boundary
Semiconductor equipmentFrames, chambers support structures, gas line brackets, tooling plates. Parts that do not touch the waferAluminium 6061 with hard anodise, stainless 316, PEEKFlatness, cleanliness of the finish, documented material traceability
Medical devicesInstrument bodies, jigs, fixtures, lab and diagnostic equipment parts. No implantsStainless 316L, titanium Grade 5, PEEK, POMPassivation to a named standard, full dimensional reports, material certificates
Automotive aftermarket and EVBrackets, adapters, pulleys, housings, cooling plates, prototype and small series partsAluminium 6061 and 7075, steel, stainlessRepeatability across batches, capability on the two or three features that matter
Consumer hardwareEnclosures, faceplates, hinges, camera and audio mounts, visible machined partsAluminium 6061 and 6063, brass, POMCosmetic standard agreed against an approved sample, colour consistency across a batch

Work we decline

A supplier that says yes to everything is telling you something. These are ours, in public.

  • Implantable medical devicesA different regulatory world with a different supply chain. We do not take them and would not be a good choice if we did.
  • Work needing AS9100 or ITARWe do not hold those approvals, and a shop holding one does not transfer it to an order placed through us.
  • Safety critical structural aerospaceSame reason. Say it early and we will tell you plainly rather than quoting and hoping.
  • Anything requiring a certification we do not haveIf your specification names an approval, ask us before you build a drawing package around this route.

Not sure which side your part falls on?

Send the drawing with a line about the application. You get a straight answer within 24 business hours, and if the answer is that this is not the right route we say so instead of quoting it.
